Soccer Academy
The soccer academy is strong part of our relationship building with the at-risk youth in the community. Soccer affectionately called 'Futbol' in Guatemala, is a shared loved by the majority. Our goal is to share God's love and through sport empower the youth to believe they can grow, learn, and dream. Soccer is a powerful tool that for our founders provided: education, opportunity, travel, relationship, competition, and relationship with Jesus.
As of 2019 we have started working with Mini’s ages 4-7, It has been a true labor of love working with such small children. The mini’s that Gavin calls his little Boogers come every sunday with their parents and get to work on their coordination, team work, communication, and play soccer. We provide fun games and lots of little shaded breaks, always concluding with a bible story with the parents and snacks.
For the Love of the Game...
Our soccer academy has over 125 boys and girls from ages 8-18. The players are provided with soccer equipment, clean water, and snacks during training sessions. Pray for and partner with us as we continue to invest using sport.
